Alpa Vyas

Alpa is the Vice President and Chief Patient Experience Officer at Stanford Health Care. She is responsible for developing and driving core patient and family centered programs, services and patient satisfaction reporting/analytics to support the goals of the organization. In addition, Alpa has led the Design Thinking efforts and developing new services to advance leading edge and coordinated care. Alpa also previously served as the Administrative Director for Performance Excellence at Stanford Health Care. Prior to joining Stanford, Alpa was a healthcare strategy and operations consultant with Deloitte Consulting for over eight years. Alpa has had the opportunity to work with academic medical centers, physician group practices, and multi-hospital health systems across the country. Her experience includes assisting provider organizations in mergers and acquisitions, financial turnarounds, performance improvement initiatives, regulatory reviews, strategic planning as well as large-scale electronic medical record implementations. Alpa has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the University of South Carolina and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina.
