Ashleigh Kamencik-Wright is currently Program Director with System Patient Experience at Houston Methodist Hospital System and has been part of Houston Methodist since 2018. In her current position, she is responsible for comprehensive program management of a system-wide patient-centered digital technology, and is accountable for setting the strategic direction, analyzing performance, and managing relationships internally with hospital leadership and externally with clients, partners and vendors. Previously, she has worked in System Accreditation and Regulatory Affairs. Prior to joining Houston Methodist, Kamencik-Wright served in various leadership and management roles in Physician Practice Management and Business Development. Kamencik-Wright started her career in healthcare as a Patient Care Assistant where’re she developed her passion for patient-centered quality care. Kamencik-Wright has a Master of Business Administration from Baylor University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from West Texas A&M University. She is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honors Society. Kamencik-Wright is a member of the Membership Advancement Committee with the American College of Healthcare Executives: South East Texas Chapter, and is currently pursuing her fellow certification from the American College of Healthcare Executives and certification as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. In her leisure time, Kamencik-Wright enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, serving as a Parent Teacher Fellowship Representative at her daughter's school, and volunteering in the children’s ministry at her church.
