Ashley Ackerman serves as the System Director of Patient Experience for Baptist Health System KY/IN. With a strategic focus on expanding, aligning, and elevating Baptist Health's commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care, Ashley plays a pivotal role in spearheading patient experience strategies and initiatives across more than 400 points of care spanning two states. With nearly 20 years of dedicated experience in the healthcare sector, Ashley's journey has been marked by significant contributions. One of Ashley's most notable achievements is her development and implementation of the highly acclaimed Tiered Performance Structure, a patient experience support model that has been embraced and implemented across the entire Baptist Health system. This model has been instrumental in standardizing and enhancing patient experiences within their hospitals, medical practices, urgent care facilities, and home care agencies. Ashley also successfully led the integration of patient experience data onto the Baptist Health website for over 1,000 providers, offering patients the opportunity to make more informed decisions about the care they receive. Most prominently, under Ashley's leadership, Baptist Health Medical Group achieved top decile national patient experience performance, a testament to her commitment to driving excellence and fostering a culture of patient-centered care. Her relentless dedication and transformative leadership have been instrumental in advancing Baptist Health's mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services while continually raising the bar for patient experience standards in the healthcare industry. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Leadership and Management, a Master of Healthcare Administration degree, and is a Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP).
