Dr. David Weisman has worked at NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens since 2013, first as Director of Patient Experience and then as Chief Experience Officer beginning in 2020. He is the administrator for Patient Relations, Food and Nutrition, Pastoral Care and Language Access. In all of his roles and responsibilities, he has fostered a culture of person-centered care for continuous improvement of the care experience. David Weisman earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology. He has received his certification in Patient Advocacy, Patient Experience Leadership and achieved the designation of Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP). In 2022, he was named a Fellow in Person Centered Care by Planetree International.
