Joy is a registered nurse with 40 years of healthcare experience, spanning staff nursing and leadership roles at North Mississippi Medical Center (NMMC), a two-time Baldrige award winner, across units including Surgical, Outpatient and Acute Dialysis, Emergency Department, Trauma, Rapid Admit, Flight (as Chief Flight Nurse), and Transfer Center. She was instrumental in building several "ground zero" programs at NMMC, including its Trauma Program, Rapid Admit Unit, Centralized Transfer Center, and Bariatric Program & Outpatient Bariatric Clinic. Joy went on to spend 12 years at TeleTracking, progressing from Consultant to Consulting Director and ultimately VP of Clinical Strategy, where she led command center development, patient access, and throughput consulting across the US and UK. For the past 6+ years, she has served as Senior Vice President of Clinical Strategy at CipherHealth, specializing in clinical workflow optimization and leading both the internal Best Practice Committee and the customer-focused Clinical Advisory Board. She currently serves as Co-Chair of The Beryl Institute Solutions Advisory Board and as a Strategic Advisory Board Member.
