Katie joined our team in August 2016 after working for the University of Alabama at Birmingham Health Services Foundation. Katie earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health at the University of Alabama and her Master of Science in Health Care Management at the University of New Orleans. Katie has also earned her certificate in Health Care Management for young leaders and is a Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP). Since joining Ochsner as a Patient Experience Coordinator, Katie has proven herself as a Manager and Director and is now leading the coaching team as one of the Assistant Vice Presidents. Katie has successfully partnered with leaders across Ochsner Health to support leadership development, employee engagement and has been a catalyst for positive patient experience changes in multiple departments and regions.
