Lisa Minns

Lisa Minns is a registered nurse and has been in the healthcare industry for nearly 25 years. She currently serves as the Inpatient Adult Medicine Director at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. She attended Chamberlain University where she received both her Bachelor and Master of Nursing degrees. She is also certified as an advanced nurse executive (NEA-BC). In addition, Lisa has the honor of being a Guardian/Advocate for her daughter, Karlie, and others in their home community. Through storytelling, Lisa shares Karlie’s story of how a medical error changed her life and the expectations they had for the family’s future. Lisa compares the caregiving with Karlie at home with the caregiving as a nurse leader with her team.
