Barb has been in healthcare over 12 years, and with Allegheny Health Network for the past 9 years working in various aspects of the organization. Currently serving as Vice President, Patient Experience at Allegheny Health Network, Barb leads a team of over 20 professionals, responsible for shaping and implementing the network's patient experience vision across 10 hospitals, numerous ambulatory centers, and over 22,000 employees. With her Masters of Management in Operational Excellence (MSMOE) and expertise in process improvement, Barb has helped sharpen the focus and bring alignment to the Patient Experience strategy at AHN. She also recently earned her Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP) certification and is a passionate advocate for patient-centered care, dedicated to creating a remarkable experience for every patient and family.
