Dan Dodson

Dan is a digital health evangelist where within his current role at UNC Health as System Director, Digital Health and Innovation he leads digital transformation from ideation through execution, shepherding cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that drive value for health care. His focus is on how digital health technologies can be used to generate system growth, enhance patient-centered care, evolve care delivery models, promote population health, and support innovation and research within the system. Dan has successfully implemented digital products and services, including telehealth, mobile, unified communications, marketing technologies and emerging technologies. Dan has held senior leadership roles within technology, consulting and health care companies and has a BS in Industrial Engineering, an MBA, and an MS in Health Informatics along with 25+ years’ experience in strategy, product development, marketing and innovation.
