Glenn Kopelson

PFAC Co-Chair & Advisor UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute

Glenn Kopelson is a founding member of the UCLA Neuropsychiatry Patient Family Advisory Council and a Board member for the Institute for Behavioral Healthcare Improvement (IBHI). As a PFAC Board Member he has led initiatives at UCLA’s hospital to improve the patient and family experience.  At IBHI, Glenn’s mission is to work with providers to improve behavioral healthcare outcomes.  In addition to his work at UCLA and IBHI, Glenn advocates for patients and families in the mental health space and has spoken at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Service Annual Conference and the Patient and Family Centered Care Conference.  Additionally, he has led webinars and been a guest blogger for the Beryl Institute on the topic of the patient experience.  Last year, Glenn was an action team member for the National Quality Forum initiative on Serious Mental Illness. 

When not volunteering his time in health care, Glenn works in the media and entertainment industry.  His past work experience includes Sony Pictures Entertainment and Twentieth Century Fox.  Glenn’s experience also includes management consulting where he advised over a dozen companies on business strategy and process improvement.  Glenn received a BA from UCLA and an MBA from USC.
