Javier Alvarez has dedicated 25 years to enhancing patient and family experiences in hospital settings through his various roles in Patient Experience and non-clinical support operations. He began his career as a patient representative and earned a reputation for his empathy and commitment to improving patient satisfaction. Over the years Javier has embraced opportunities to continue growing and learning new skills. Javier advanced into leadership coaching roles and subsequently into management roles. Javier currently oversees teams responsible for non-clinical support operations including Patient Experience, Volunteer Services, Pastoral Care, Environmental Services, Food and Nutrition Services, Linen, Plant Operations, Safety and Visitor Information in a 450-bed medical center in Northern New Jersey. Javier is known for his passion for improvement, his ability to collaborate across departments, and his ability to build and foster relationships with colleagues and team members.
