Dr. Judith Wolfe

Judith Wolfe, MD is the Chief Medical Officer of University Hospitals St. John Medical Center in Westlake, Ohio. A nationally recognized leader in patient experience, Dr. Wolfe brings over two decades of clinical and leadership expertise to her role, with a proven track record of advancing safety, quality, and patient-centered care. Prior to joining UH, Dr. Wolfe served as Associate Chief Experience Officer at the Cleveland Clinic, where she led patient experience improvements across domestic and international operations—including sites in Ohio, Florida, the UK, and the Middle East. She played a pivotal role in aligning medical staff and executive leadership around data-driven strategies, with a focus on healthcare analytics and the integration of artificial intelligence. An emergency medicine physician by training, Dr. Wolfe has held leadership roles in several emergency departments across Northeast Ohio, including as Chair and Medical Director of the Lakewood Hospital ED. She is also the former Medical Director of Cleveland Clinic’s Community Paramedicine and Urgent Dispatch program. Dr. Wolfe earned her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and completed medical school and residency in Emergency Medicine at SUNY Buffalo. She is widely published in pediatric emergency medicine and has lectured globally on patient experience best practices.
