Diligent Robotics is a robotics company focused on enhancing people’s lives by improving their relationships with technology. We design socially intelligent, mobile manipulation robots that assist people in everyday environments like hospitals, as trusted and reliable members of a team. Our goal is to help people spend less time on logistical tasks that robots can do autonomously, so they have more time to utilize their human ingenuity, passion and analytical skills on bigger challenges. Moxi is our healthcare service robot that supports nursing teams by doing their non-patient facing logistical tasks, so nurses have more time for patient care. Nurses work in fast-paced demanding environments where they have to balance patient care with heavy amounts of logistical responsibilities, such as restocking and delivering supplies. With an extra hand from Moxi, who autonomously completes the non-patient facing logistical tasks end-to-end, nurses have more time to focus on what they want to do and what they’re best as at humans: direct patient care.
