At R3, we believe that at the heart of every successful patient experience is a relationship that was nurtured through effective communication. Because of this we've devoted the last 20 plus years to teaching communication to 3 areas of every hospital.
The first conversation we work on is the "front lines", the people who work directly with the patients. The second conversation is with the middle managers; teaching them how to become more effective coaches at creating an exceptional patient experience. And last, with the executive team ensuring they are clearly communicating their vision that aligns the hospital together.
When the leaders are focused on treating their team the way they want their team to treat their patients, the experience for both patient and employee dramatically improves. This is why we work across all departments to make a cultural change to the hospital that lasts long after we're done.
